Job Description

You will join China Commercial Team and base in Suzhou, your main responsibilities are:

Market Analysis & Strategic Planning

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities, customer trends, competitive positioning, and emerging industry developments within China.
  • Develop and execute annual and long-term business and marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor market dynamics, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Lead market communication strategies to strengthen brand awareness and value proposition in the China market.
  • Drive branding and positioning initiatives for industrial products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop customer-centric marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all customer touchpoints.

Program & Initiative Management

  • Lead and manage strategic programs and key business initiatives across functions and business units.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution of growth initiatives.
  • Support transformation and market expansion projects, including digital and e-business initiatives.

Business Development & Key Account Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including large Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs).
  • Identify partnership and channel development opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to support customer acquisition and retention strategies.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Foster strong teamwork and collaboration across regional and global teams.
  • Promote a pragmatic, hands-on, and “down-to-earth” working culture.
  • Mentor and support team members while driving accountability and performance excellence.

Who will are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, or strategic planning roles.
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese industrial market context and competitive landscape.
  • Proven experience in developing value propositions and branding strategies for industrial products;
  • Experience in e-business or digital commercial initiatives is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with key accounts, particularly Chinese SOEs.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and practical execution approach.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.
