The Marketing Clerk is responsible for assisting with all aspects of marketing. Assisting with concerts, community events, website, public relations, and social media production, coverage, and distribution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Responsible for supporting overall marketing coverage for promotions or events, including assisting with designing and implementation of advertising projects and campaigns.
- Supports the Entertainment Coordinator in all entertainment needs. Assist with social media production, scheduling of posts, organic ads, and messages for each media platform as directed.
- Assist in maintaining company’s digital signage and website.
- Assist with responding to guests’ comments on social media platforms on behalf of the company.
- Assist with distribution of marketing/advertising material at sponsored events.
- Support the Legacy Rewards Club when requested.
- Keep accurate inventory of office supplies, donation supplies, media equipment, entertainment equipment, and event equipment.
- Assist with ordering all supplies for concerts and events, donation requests, sponsored events, and social media contests for the Marketing Department.
- Assists with company holiday or special event decorations.
- Assist in coordination of all company community relations efforts including, but not limited to press conferences, tribal events, political events, property tours, press releases, and chamber events as directed.
- Assist with communication of events on and off property. Must be knowledgeable with all services, products, promotions, and events offered on property.
- Assist with guest service on social media and sponsorships.
- Prepare and process billing purchase orders, purchase authorizations, and check requests.
- Assists with preparation and attends sponsored events in representation of Eagle Mountain Casino on or off property as directed.
- Process timely response of all donation/sponsorship requests, and maintain accurate records as directed.
- Process approved donation requests: gift baskets, giveaways, check requests, event scheduling, and attendance.
- Communicate and coordinate distribution of approved donations and sponsorships.
- Contribute to daily social media, to ensure positive promotion of the property.
- Must attend and be certified in all applicable training required.
- All other departmental duties as assigned.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- The minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Exposure to a hospitality environment.
- General knowledge of gaming, including slots, video, bingo, and card games.
- Must have digital marketing experience with social media and websites.
- Business clerical experience required.
- Must be computer literate and be proficient in Microsoft Suite, social media sites, and the internet.
- Exposure with mobile and desktop image and video editing.
- Able to type 45-50 WPM.
- Must be able to speak in public.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, not required.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be task orientated.
- Must be available to work some nights and weekends.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the casino’s insurance carrier.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
- Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Environment is office setting, occasional visits to the casino floor, and frequent visits to the event center before, during, or after events.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to travel.
- Noise level is normally an office setting, moderate to loud when on casino floor or events.
- Exposed to cigarette smoke, ringing bells, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
