Job Description

Are you a commercially driven category expert who thrives on turning data into growth? Do you know how to build winning assortments, optimise pricing, and unlock brand potential across multiple markets?

We’re looking for a Marketing Category Assortment Manager to take ownership of category performance —driving assortment strategy, pricing excellence, and brand growth in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

The Role - This is a high-impact position, where you will act as the category and brand lead expert, shaping how our brands show up across retailers and digital platforms. You’ll drive data-led decisions across assortments, pricing, and promotional investment—ensuring every action delivers measurable commercial return and supports long-term brand equity.

What You’ll Be Driving

Assortment & Category Leadership

  • Own and evolve category assortments

  • Lead range reviews, and updates to maximise performance

  • Act as the go-to expert for category and brand strategy

Data-Driven Performance & Insights

  • Turn data & category insights into actionable growth strategies

  • Analyse sales, margin, and promotional performance to optimise ROI

  • Deliver competitor insight and pricing intelligence to inform decision-making

  • Build clear, impactful recommendations that drive commercial outcomes

Pricing, Promotions & Brand Income

  • Lead pricing strategy and promotional optimisation across key accounts

  • Manage and improve brand income and profitability through smart trade investment

  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and continuously refine mechanics

Brand Growth & Commercial Impact

  • Drive brand growth through best-in-class assortment and activation strategies

  • Support new product launches with strong commercial and category plans

  • Influence stakeholders to unlock incremental revenue opportunities

Retail & Digital Execution

  • Oversee secondary site initiatives and online activation excellence

  • Ensure best-in-class execution across retailer platforms (content, visibility, pricing)

  • Optimise digital toolkits and assets to maximise conversion and engagement

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Category, Trade Marketing, or Commercial Marketing (FMCG / Beauty)

  • Strong track record in assortment management, pricing, and promotional strategy

  • Highly data-driven, with the ability to translate insight into action

  • Confident working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams

  • Strong understanding of competitor dynamics and market trends

  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel, dashboards, performance tracking)

Bonus: Experience in Colour Cosmetics or beauty categories
🌍 European market exposure is highly desirable
