It is structurally vital that our team reflects the rich diversity of the organizations and communities we seek to serve. We strongly and explicitly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and members of other groups traditionally underrepresented in the technology sector to apply.
This role offers a unique opportunity to own the customer journey for RunningMate.
Unlike a traditional Business Development Representative position, RunningMate does not have a dedicated sales team. As our Marketing BDR, you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective customers, guiding them from their first interaction through purchase.
Working closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, you'll engage inbound leads, generate outbound opportunities, build relationships with prospective customers, conduct product demonstrations when appropriate, and help campaigns identify the RunningMate solution that best fits their needs.
If you're energized by building relationships, creating repeatable sales processes, and helping grow an innovative product from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.
Sponsorship: Civitech is unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time; all applicants must possess independent US work authorization.
Employment Eligibility: Civitech utilizes E-Verify to verify eligibility to work in the United States. This verification step occurs strictly after a formal offer has been extended and accepted, following the completion of Form I-9. Please find more information about our participation in this program here.
Equal Opportunity Employer: Civitech provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or protected veteran status, in strict accordance with federal, state, and local compliance standards.

Civitech develops technology and data products that help Democratic candidates win, progressive causes succeed, and local governments better serve their community to create a fairer, more equitable democracy.
In 2020 we powered voter registration and vote by mail tools for leading campaigns and advocacy organizations, and helped our clients register over 800,000 voters.
