Marketing B2B Manager at The Crown Estate, Urban Portfolio

Purpose of Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver B2B marketing strategies and activities that bring The Crown Estate's Urban development pipeline to life, with a focus on London development opportunities this role combines strategic thinking and operational execution. The role will ensure marketing is commercially focused, insight-led and directly aligned to achieve leasing strategies, drive customer demand and deliver long-term value creation.

The role is focused on bringing agreed development propositions to life translating leasing strategy and asset positioning into compelling marketing activity that builds awareness, generates demand and supports successful leasing outcomes.

Context of Opportunity / Main Accountabilities

This role sits at the point where agreed development propositions move into market, turning leasing strategy and asset positioning into distinctive, commercially effective B2B marketing that captures attention, supports customer engagement and builds leasing momentum. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the role will help ensure activity is joined-up, compelling and aligned to wider portfolio objectives.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Define, lead and deliver tailored B2B marketing strategies, plans and campaigns for development schemes from early positioning through to launch to achieve targets, aligned to business plans, asset leasing strategies and portfolio priorities.

  • Create, manage and deliver B2B marketing plans that support workplace, hospitality and retail development objectives, leasing priorities and wider Urban business goals.

  • Appointing, briefing and managing external agencies to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns and assets.

  • Build strong relationships with agency partners, leasing agents and internal stakeholders to ensure activity is commercially focused and effectively delivered.

  • Develop clear, compelling brand and placemaking narratives that differentiate schemes in the market and resonate with target customers to drive demand.

  • Managing, monitoring and reporting on B2B marketing budgets, ensuring activity is planned, forecast and reviewed effectively with Senior B2B Marketing Manager.

  • Establishing insightful ways to measure marketing effectiveness, demonstrate return on investment and support continuous improvement.

Most Important Skills Based Requirements

  • Significant marketing leasing experience and understanding how marketing supports pre-leasing, demand generation and long-term asset value

  • Strong understanding of development schemes and the role of marketing in value creation

  • Strong experience in B2B marketing, within real estate, development, workplace, hospitality, retail leasing and other asset-led environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work confidently across internal and external teams.

  • Experience managing agencies and suppliers, including briefing, delivery management, quality control and performance review.

  • Deep understanding of workplace, retail and hospitality customer needs, market trends and emerging demand.

  • Significant experience in shaping compelling, differentiated narratives and brands for developments

  • Excellent commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting activity and demonstrating return on marketing investment.

  • Ability to develop clear, compelling and consistent messaging for B2B audiences across digital, content, paid media and marketing collateral.

  • Strong understanding of brand, customer and market insight, with the ability to shape activity that is relevant, differentiated and purpose led.

  • Highly organised and delivery focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across complex programmes and stakeholder groups.
