Specialist Automation will work to cater to diverse communication needs and requirements of various markets, by developing and executing high performing, data driven campaign strategies using marketing automation platforms, manage email campaigns, customer Journeys, report results and assist in developing strategic recommendations. He/she will work with other teams such as the Salesforce team, the web team, the social media and the Project team to execute these projects across email and other relevant channels. The idea candidate should have experience in leading teams of automation specialists and working with cross-functional team members to execute strategies that achieve high reach, visibility, conversion and engagement at an enterprise-wide level for both brand building and ROI-driven campaigns
What you will do
Individual contributor Marketing Automation specialists who work on campaigns and journeys in marketing cloud.
Enable Global Marketing Team to achieve business objectives through Marketing automation tool – Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Oversee campaigns from ideation to creation to analysis and reporting. Lead the marketing automation tasks involving campaigns, automated journeys using email and messaging platforms.
Work with stakeholders across the globe to enable prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures as it pertains to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journeys
Communicates constantly with the units involved (Marketing Manager, Stakeholders, Creative Director, Web Lead)
Use data-driven methodologies to analyze and optimize projects keeping the business objectives in mins
Qualification and Experience:
Graduate/postgraduate with 4-5+ years of work experience within the Marketing domain, and at a minimum, 3 years of experience with Marketing automation systems.
Strong familiarity with B2B marketing operations.
Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce Ecosystem and primarily SFMC – Email Studio, Journey Builder, Reports, Automation Studio.
Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
Ability to understand business problems and resolve through the prioritised configuration of the marketing automation platform.
Demonstrable experience in segmenting audiences and optimising campaigns to increase effectiveness.
Proven experience of maintaining a marketing database; performing data governance tasks to ensure a high level of data hygiene.
Understanding of Digital Marketing Ecosystem and Salesforce Ecosystem
A working knowledge with HTML and strong understanding of email-campaign best practices, as well as expertise with email fundamentals including reputation, spam, security, deliverability
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable workflows
In-depth understanding of Marketing and campaign management functions and processes.
Experience in process standardization and campaign and marketing tools and systems
Excellent verbal and written skills, with a precise attention to detail and grammatical accuracy
Good Stakeholder management skills
Ability to multi-task projects and meet deadlines consistently.
Self-motivation and a desire for continuous learning and improvement
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, strong Excel skills
Marketing Cloud Certifications
Salesforce integration experience (Desired)
Relevant industry experience in Logistics is a plus.
