Marketing Automation Project Manager

The Marketing Automation Project Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, including developing detailed work requests, prioritizing and tracking projects, and coordinating content reviews with key stakeholders.
This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver templated marketing assets, lead management uploads, manage approval cycles, consolidate feedback, and ensure smooth handoffs to internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has experience in B2B environments and marketing automation and can contribute at both strategic and tactical levels. They are curious, highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a cross-functional setting.
Responsibilities
Review project requests holistically and proactively identify gaps, dependencies, and additional resource needs
Coordinate with production teams to kick off and deliver content, including leading kickoff meetings as needed
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and adherence to the original request
Develop project timelines and manage day-to-day execution, including stakeholder coordination and approvals
Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and platform requirements
Monitor project progress and proactively communicate updates, risks, and status to stakeholders
Maintain and refresh assets as updates or replacements occur
Support content planning and asset development initiatives
Skills
3–5 years of B2B and/or B2C marketing project management experience, ideally within a technology company (internships included)
Strong ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and build consensus
Excellent interpersonal skills; curious, proactive, resourceful, adaptable, and positive mindset
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with minimal direction
Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and efficiency
Ability to ensure consistency across all deliverables and contribute to content quality and creative evaluation
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with both B2B and/or B2C marketing channels
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) a plus
Experience working with Adobe Workfront or similar project management tools
