Job Description

ABOUT QUANTUMLOOPAI

QuantumLoopAI is transforming how patients access NHS primary care. Our AI-powered reception system, EMMA, serves millions of NHS patients, helping GP surgeries manage demand, reduce phone queues, and ensure patients get the right care at the right time. Backed by leading healthcare investors and working with NHS practices across England, we are building the future of primary care access. As we prepare for our Series A and expand our team, we are looking for exceptional people who want to make a genuine difference to the NHS.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is not a typical marketing assistant role. You will work directly with our CEO to plan and deliver marketing initiatives that drive EMMA's adoption across NHS GP surgeries nationwide. You will have genuine ownership of campaigns, direct access to leadership, and the tools to make a real impact from day one. Within months, you will build a portfolio of work that would typically take years to accumulate — all while helping transform healthcare access for millions of patients and thousands of NHS staff.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Execute marketing strategy across digital, content, events and partnerships, reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Create compelling campaigns targeting NHS surgeries, GP federations and healthcare decision-makers.
  • Conduct customer interviews and build case studies, testimonials and success stories that demonstrate EMMA's impact.
  • Manage website content, social media channels and email marketing to drive qualified demo bookings.
  • Build and optimise lead generation campaigns using our enterprise-level HubSpot platform.
  • Develop marketing collateral for the sales team including pitch decks, one-pagers and presentations.
  • Represent QuantumLoopAI at NHS conferences, events and industry meetings.
  • Track performance metrics and optimise campaigns for maximum return on investment.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers to deliver high-quality creative work.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience (agency, in-house or startup preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you are articulate, persuasive and know how to tell a compelling story.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball.
  • A proactive self-starter who takes initiative, spots opportunities and drives results without waiting to be asked.
  • An excellent listener who understands customers, stakeholders and team dynamics.
  • Experience with marketing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot, Google Analytics and social media platforms.
  • Genuine passion for marketing and creating campaigns that make a measurable difference.
  • Ambitious with a hunger to learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility.

DESIRABLE

  • Healthcare, B2B SaaS or healthtech marketing experience.
  • Video editing or content creation skills.
  • Startup experience or comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Understanding of NHS stakeholder engagement or public sector marketing.

LOGISTICS

  • Education: We value skills and experience over formal qualifications.
  • Working arrangements: Office-based at our Canary Wharf, London headquarters, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Visa sponsorship: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
  • Start date: Flexible.

Benefits

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive package depending on experience
  • Potential share options
  • Access to enterprise-level marketing tools including HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite and Canva Pro
  • Professional development including conference attendance and CPD support
  • The opportunity to shape the marketing function at one of the UK's fastest-growing healthtech companies
  • Direct mentorship from the CEO and founding team

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT

At QuantumLoopAI, you will join a team that is genuinely improving NHS primary care. We move fast, take ownership, and celebrate wins together. Our culture values:

  • Impact over optics. We measure success by patient outcomes, not busy work
  • Transparency. Open communication, honest feedback, shared context
  • Ownership. You will have real autonomy to shape your work and our product
  • Learning. We are building something new, and we learn from every experiment

This role offers an unusually accelerated career path. You will gain experience across the full marketing mix — strategy, content, events, lead generation, sales enablement and analytics — working directly with the CEO rather than buried in a large team. For the right person, this is the fastest route to a senior marketing leadership position in healthtech.

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

We believe diverse teams build better products. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work. If you are excited about this role but do not meet every requirement, we would still love to hear from you.

RECRUITMENT SAFETY NOTICE

QuantumLoopAI will never ask candidates for payment or sensitive financial information during the recruitment process. All official communications come from @quantumloopai.com email addresses.

About QuantumLoopAi

QuantumLoopAI is the UK's leading AI receptionist for NHS primary care.

Every morning, millions of patients compete for GP phone lines that were never designed to handle modern demand. The result: jammed switchboards, frustrated patients, and reception teams ground down by relentless call volumes and, too often, abusive interactions.

EMMA, our AI receptionist, eliminates this entirely. Built specifically for general practice, EMMA answers every patient call instantly during surgery hours with no queue, no hold music, and no missed calls. She handles both clinical and administrative enquiries, safely triaging patients to the right outcome and integrating directly with NHS tools including Accurx.

EMMA now serves over 2 million NHS patients across hundreds of GP surgeries and PCNs, making QuantumLoopAI the most widely adopted AI receptionist in UK primary care. Practices using EMMA typically see call-handling costs reduce by up to 80%, while patient access and satisfaction improve dramatically.

For reception teams, the impact is transformative. Staff describe EMMA as their favourite colleague. freed from constant phone pressure, they can focus on the in-person, patient-facing work that drew them to the role.

QuantumLoopAI is DTAC certified and built to meet NHS clinical safety standards. We work with GP surgeries, PCNs, and ICBs committed to making primary care more accessible, efficient, and sustainable.
