We're looking for someone with 2+ years' experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, partnerships, or technology who wants their next move to directly fuel business growth. If that's you, Pattern wants to meet you.
The Marketing Assistant is an externally-facing role on our Sydney team, responsible for our lead generation activity. Just as importantly, you'll represent the Pattern brand, both to prospective client brands and inside our own office. This full-time, hybrid role is based in our Sydney, Australia office.
This role gives you a strong foundation in Pattern's broader marketing and ecommerce function. As you build a track record of lead-gen results and brand representation, you'll have the opportunity to specialise into event marketing, content, or partnerships, taking on more senior, prospect-facing responsibility within Pattern's marketing team.
First 30 days: Complete induction, meet key stakeholders across the business, understand how each team operates, and shadow existing lead generation and event activity.
First 60 days: Take ownership of specific campaigns and events end-to-end, and start contributing directly to lead-gen reporting and the prospect pipeline.
First 90 days: Be a full, visible contributor to Pattern's lead-generation KPIs, represent Pattern confidently at an external event or webinar, and be an active, positive presence in our internal culture and social committee.
You'll report directly to the Sydney-based Director of Marketing. You will work alongside other marketing and ecommerce professionals across the globe. This team is data-driven and results-oriented, and you'll regularly collaborate with local team members to drive B2B lead generation and brand awareness. We value ideas and input from every team member.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analysing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.

Pattern® provides a proven blend of marketplace analytics, product distribution, MAP compliance, and brand management to drive ecommerce acceleration for premium brands. We thrive on high energy, professional excellence, and disciplined creativity.
