Job Description

Job Location: Administration Building - Longview, TX 75605Responsible for providing excellent marketing support through promoting Credit Union products and services to members and the public.  Sends requested literature and other materials in a timely manner.  Enters marketing information into database, generates reports, assists with direct mail campaigns, and performs basic clerical and support activities.  Works closely with staff to create and implement design concepts tailored to individual advertising requirements.  Presents professional designs based on strategic marketing concepts.  Provides professional graphics, images, and designs for brochures, print advertisements, promotional handouts, signs, direct mail pieces, newsletters, multimedia presentations, and the website information page.  Ensures that the Credit Union’s professional reputation is maintained and projected.
1.             Assumes responsibility for the accurate and efficient performance of all Marketing support functions.
a.             Receives and organizes marketing information from internal calls, direct mail response, trade show information, etc.
b.             Ensures that marketing functions are professionally executed.
c.             Generates requested marketing reports in an accurate and timely manner.
d.             Responds to requests for literature in a timely manner.  Mails out brochures, data sheets, etc. as requested.
e.             Assists with the preparation of direct mail campaigns targeted to specific market segments.  Labels, posts, and delivers mailings.
2.             Assumes responsibility for supporting and enhancing the Credit Union’s social media presence.
a.             Assists in planning, creating, and scheduling content across the Credit Union’s social media platforms.
b.             Engage with followers by monitoring comments, messages and trends.
c.             Tracks and reports basic social media performance metrics to support campaign effectiveness.
3.             Assumes responsibility for effectively performing miscellaneous clerical and support functions.
a.             Processes all outgoing daily department mail and ensures delivery.
b.             Reports literature reorders for reprints and maintains required literature inventory.
c.             Performs general supply room housekeeping duties including cleaning, stacking shelves, and organizing materials.
4.             Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional relations with members.
a.             Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously.
b.             Obtains and conveys information politely and promptly.
c.             Maintains and projects the Credit Union's professional reputation.
5.             Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Credit Union personnel and management.
a.             Assists and supports personnel as needed.
b.             Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
c.             Attends and participates in meetings as required.
6.             Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
a.           Completes special projects as assigned.
b.            Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

QualificationsEducation/Certification:       High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Knowledge:             Knowledge of products and marketing and sales polices.
Understanding of Credit Union operations, products, and services.
Familiar with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) preferred.
Familiar with mail processing.
Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their application in marketing.
Basic understanding of tracking social media performance and reporting engagement.
Experience Required:              Data entry experience preferred.
Experience with social media management and basic marketing functions (1-2 years preferred)
Familiarity with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) preferred.
Skills/Abilities:                           Communicates and works well with other in a team environment.
Neat, well organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Solid public relations skills.
Able to use computer and related software.
Ability to create, schedule, and monitor social media content.
