We are seeking a Marketing Intern to support regional employer engagement and employment programs across multiple service areas. This role provides hands-on experience supporting Business Development and Employment Program teams through outreach, marketing, and event support tied directly to employment outcomes.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and interested in how marketing and employer engagement support employment outcomes. They are comfortable supporting multiple regions and contributing to outreach efforts that strengthen employer partnerships.
The intern will learn how marketing supports regional employer engagement and employment outcomes, working within established messaging, brand guidelines, and real-world timelines while collaborating across Business Development, Employment Programs, and regional teams. The intern will also gain hands-on experience with employer-facing marketing materials, event promotion, and mission-driven storytelling in a nonprofit, workforce-focused environment.
This internship will be starting on June 1, 2026 and ending on August 7, 2026.
This role requires intern to work 100% onsite in our San Diego HQ. Housing assistance and stipends are not provided.

What you’ll be doing
As a Employment Services Marketing Intern at Options For All, you will:
- Support regional employer outreach and engagement in collaboration with Business Development and Employment Program teams
- Collaborate with internal teams and support multiple regions as priorities shift
- Help gather, organize, and maintain outreach materials for future regional use
- Assist with development and updating of region-specific outreach and marketing materials
- Support regional job fairs, employer engagement events, and community outreach activities
- Prepare and organize employer-facing materials including flyers, one-pagers, presentations, and engagement packets
- Assist with promotion of employment programs such as Project SEARCH, paid work experiences, and other workforce initiatives

Qualifications:

- - Must have and maintain valid drivers’ license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel within and throughout region where services are provided.

- - Must be 21 years of age or older.

- - Must complete and pass background check.

- Education:

- - Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Film/Media, Public Relations, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio experience).

- - Minimum 3.0 GPA

Experience:

- - Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights).

This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. They must be capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment. Ability to lift 15lbs.
