Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care while advancing psychiatric treatment through ethical clinical research and innovative therapeutic approaches. With continued expansion across Florida, we offer opportunities to grow within a collaborative, high-performing environment focused on clinical excellence, innovation, operational efficiency, and exceptional patient experiences. We are committed to helping our employees thrive professionally while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to outstanding care and operational excellence.

Who You Are

You are a self-directed, results-oriented professional who excels at healthcare outreach, relationship development, and business growth. You confidently engage healthcare providers, facility administrators, and decision-makers to establish referral partnerships and generate new patient opportunities. You bring strong communication, organization, accountability, and follow-through, with the ability to work independently while representing Health Haven with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.

What You’ll Do

The Marketing and Community Outreach Specialist will expand Health Haven’s community presence, develop referral partnerships, and generate new patient opportunities through in-person outreach and relationship building. This is a 60-day contract-to-hire opportunity, with consideration for full-time employment based on achievement of the required performance goals, overall performance, and organizational needs.

  • Assisted Living Partnerships: Build relationships with assisted living facilities and their administrators to explore psychiatric service opportunities and referral partnerships.
  • Business Development: Identify prospects, initiate contact, schedule meetings, and engage healthcare leaders and decision-makers to develop new business opportunities.
  • Community Outreach: Establish relationships with primary care physicians, multispecialty practices, psychologists, therapists, rehabilitation centers, substance use treatment programs, and hospital discharge teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Record daily outreach activities, contacts, referral sources, meeting outcomes, and follow-up plans. Submit weekly progress updates and a final report at the end of the engagement.
  • Healthcare Service Education: Use Company-approved materials to educate referral partners about Health Haven’s psychiatric services, including TMS, Spravato, and outpatient psychiatric care.
  • Territory Management: Independently organize outreach routes, prioritize opportunities, conduct in-person visits, and maintain consistent follow-up across assigned communities, including West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Stuart, Tampa, and other mutually agreed territories.
  • Ethical Outreach and Compliance: Protect confidential information, follow applicable privacy and safety requirements, and maintain ethical referral practices. Do not provide clinical advice, promise treatment outcomes, influence clinical decisions, or offer or accept compensation or benefits in exchange for referrals.
  • Partnership Coordination: Present potential partnerships, proposals, pricing, and service agreements to Company leadership for review and approval. Do not sign agreements or make unauthorized commitments on behalf of Health Haven.
  • Transportation and Field Readiness: Maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required insurance coverage for business-related travel.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Complete additional outreach, marketing, relationship development, and reporting responsibilities related to the engagement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in marketing, business, communications, or healthcare administration is preferred.
  • Experience: Background in business development, sales, healthcare marketing, community outreach, or referral relationship management. Healthcare or behavioral health experience is strongly preferred.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organization: Ability to manage field activities, document results, track referral sources, and meet deadlines independently.
  • Technology: Proficiency with email, calendars, spreadsheets, and business documentation systems.
  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout assigned territories.
  • Professional Integrity: Commitment to confidentiality, ethical marketing, patient choice, and accurate representation of Company services.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to contribute to a growing behavioral health organization.
  • Direct collaboration with organizational leadership and clinical teams.
  • Experience developing healthcare referral networks and community partnerships.
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity: Eligibility for consideration for a full-time W-2 position after successfully completing the 60-day engagement and achieving all performance metrics.
