Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club is one of Australia's most prestigious golf and lifestyle destinations. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team on a maternity leave contract basis.

The Role

Reporting to the Membership and Leisure Golf Manager, the Marketing and Communications
Manager is responsible for the planning, creation, execution, and monitoring of all marketing and communication activities across the Club. The role supports the strategic goals of the Member Services department, enhancing member engagement, promoting the Club's events and services, and maintaining the Club's brand reputation across all media and touch points.

This is a hands-on position requiring high attention to detail, creativity, digital fluency, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies aligned with membership,
  golf, food and beverage, and Club-wide objectives
• Manage the production and distribution of 'The Weekly' member update, eDM campaigns,
  press releases, and other communications
• Maintain and update the Club website, app, and member portal with current, relevant, and
  engaging content
• Create high-quality, on-brand promotional and engagement material across print and
  digital channels
• Oversee all social media channels by managing a third-party contractor and coordinating
  the creation and timely publication of in-house content
• Coordinate with event and operational teams to support Club events, including signage,
  promotion, and member messaging
• Monitor and report on key campaign performance indicators, providing insights to
  improve future initiatives
• Maintain the Club's brand integrity across all communication and promotional materials
• Manage relationships with external suppliers such as designers, photographers/videographers,
  and printers
• Uphold and communicate the Club's values and high service standards in all
  communications.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications within a premium hospitality, golf,
  or membership-based environment
• Strong copywriting and editing skills with experience writing for various audiences
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing, social media, website management (CMS), and
  analytics platforms
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft
  Office
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects under deadline
• Ability to collaborate across departments and engage with members and staff
  professionally
• Golf industry knowledge or experience desirable
