Marketing and Communications Lead

Our team is growing and we currently have a role on offer for a Marketing and Communications Lead, employed on a Full-Time basis, based in our Melbourne CBD office

The Marketing & Communications Lead plays a key role in shaping and delivering strategic marketing and communications across ISS Australia’s diverse portfolio.

Reporting to and working in close partnership with the Head of Marketing & Communications, your key purpose will be to strengthen ISS’s brand, reputation and engagement across priority sectors and national contracts, ensuring our story is clear, consistent and compelling for clients, employees and the market, while supporting growth, retention and culture across a complex, people-led organisation.

This hands-on role combines strategic thinking with delivery. It partners closely with operational and commercial leaders to translate business priorities into meaningful marketing and communications that drive connection, confidence and commercial outcomes.

💡 What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Marketing & Communications

• Develop and deliver integrated digital marketing and communication plans aligned to business priorities
• Advise leaders on messaging, positioning and communication strategy
• Support internal project communications, contract mobilisations and key business initiatives
• Contribute to broader marketing strategy and annual communications planning

Storytelling, Content & Brand

• Create high-quality written and visual content across internal and external channels
• Develop campaigns, case studies, leadership messaging and thought leadership
• Capture authentic frontline and client stories that showcase the ISS experience
• Champion brand consistency and high-quality execution across all materials

Bids, Growth & Positioning

• Support major bids with compelling narratives, collateral and value propositions
• Partner with Business Development and Operations to articulate ISS’s strengths
• Develop content that supports client engagement, retention and growth

Internal Communications & Engagement

• Partner with People & Culture to deliver engaging employee campaigns
• Support leadership communications and key cultural initiatives
• Help build clarity, connection and pride across a distributed workforce

Channels, Delivery & Governance

• Coordinate delivery across digital, social and internal channels
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency and timeliness
• Use insights and analytics to improve effectiveness
• Support workflow planning and stakeholder alignment

✨ What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience across marketing, communications, brand and digital/web
• Comfort navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Experience supporting large contracts, multi-site operations or distributed workforces (highly valued)
• Proven ability to deliver integrated marketing and communications plans
• Excellent writing, editing and content development skills across multiple channels
• Experience supporting bids and major strategic initiatives
• Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Clear, thoughtful communicator with sound judgement and commercial awareness
• Collaborative, calm and relationship-driven approach
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Proactive, curious and solutions-focused mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Facilities management experience is not essential. Curiosity about how organisations operate — and how people experience workplaces — in complex B2B or service environments is highly valued.
