Our client is an independent, African-led education and consultation platform focused on helping individuals better understand the market, opportunities, processes and risks associated with building careers and businesses in the UAE and wider Gulf.

The platform offers practical education through academies, courses, workshops and mentoring, covering areas such as entrepreneurship, sales, finance, investing, technology, e-commerce, digital marketing and freelancing.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, energetic and highly communicative Marketing & Affiliate Manager to support the growth and visibility of the platform.

This is not a traditional, narrowly defined marketing role. The position combines affiliate partnerships, influencer engagement, social media, content creation, digital marketing, online reputation and brand development.

The ideal person will be comfortable wearing different hats, moving quickly between tasks and working directly with influencers, affiliates, management and the wider market.

Key Responsibilities

Affiliate & Influencer Partnerships

• Identify, approach, recruit and onboard affiliates and influencers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates and content creators.
• Coordinate with influencers for the launch and promotion of educational platforms, courses and programmes.
• Manage affiliate communication, follow-ups, meetings, campaigns and performance.
• Negotiate and coordinate affiliate partnerships and agreements.
• Develop and maintain an organised database of affiliates, influencers and potential partners.

Social Media & Content

• Manage the company's social media presence across Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
• Create, coordinate and publish engaging content to build awareness and grow the audience organically.
• Develop and manage short-form video content, including TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Coordinate with influencers, creators and internal/external resources for video and content production.
• Monitor engagement, audience growth and content performance and adapt accordingly.
• Ensure the company's online presence remains active, professional and relevant.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

• Support initiatives to improve Google visibility, SEO, listings, reviews and online reputation.
• Identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, leads and registrations through digital channels.
• Support marketing campaigns, launches and promotional activities.
• Contribute ideas for improving the website, digital experience and online brand presence.

Brand & Partnerships

• Work closely with management on branding initiatives, marketing materials and campaigns.
• Represent the organisation professionally in meetings, webinars, events, interviews and partnership discussions.
• Identify potential collaborations, communities and channels that can support audience and business growth.

Reporting & Performance

• Maintain accurate records of affiliate and influencer activity.
• Track social media growth, engagement, leads, registrations and campaign performance.
• Provide regular reports and insights to management.
• Continuously identify what is working and suggest improvements.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 6+ years of experience in marketing, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, social media, digital marketing, PR or a related field.
• Strong experience managing influencers, affiliates, creators or online partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident speaking with influencers, partners, management and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Reels and short-form video content.
• Comfortable creating or coordinating videos and social media content.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Organised and able to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Commercially aware and comfortable with outreach, follow-ups and partnership discussions.
• Proactive, resourceful and willing to take ownership without constant supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

We are looking for someone who is free-spirited, flexible, energetic and adaptable.

This role will involve different types of work every day, from speaking to an influencer in the morning, coordinating an affiliate campaign, creating a TikTok, attending a meeting, following up with partners and preparing a marketing report.

The right person will be a natural communicator and networker, comfortable putting themselves out there, meeting people, creating opportunities and representing the organisation professionally.
