The Marketing, Advocacy and Communications Team Leader is a full-time role, for an initial one-year contract, to lead our marketing, advocacy and communications operations, ensuring the implementation of key initiatives and empower the team to succeed.
Share the Dignity is passionate about our work helping women, girls and those who have a period, who are in need and eliminating period poverty in Australia. As a young charity (11 years old), there are still so many ways to grow and improve what we do – and we are looking for people who would relish the challenge of being a part of this phase.
This hands-on role works closely with our Founder bringing their ideas to life, setting KPIs and goals for the team and ensuring effective delivery of marketing plans. The synergy of these relationships are an integral part of this role.
This role also works closely with our Managers and Specialists on key projects, operational strategies and methodologies.
Our Marketing, Advocacy and Communications are a small but mighty team of five who excel at what they do and we are looking for a leader who can nurture and mentor our team members to continue to flourish and grow.
You will be agile with the ability to pivot where required. You will be excited about new opportunities, and have the technical acumen and drive to achieve genuine results for maximum value.
Key duties include:
You are someone who is happy to provide advice and direction where needed, but also someone who will jump on the tools.
You will have great organisational and communication skills and the ability to drill down into the detail whilst also having a big-picture view.
This role has been identified as interacting with children and young people-the successful applicant will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check prior to commencing in the role.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
