We are seeking a Market & Sales Operations Representative (MSOR) to join

our team in Yokohama, Japan.

In this dealer-facing role, you will work closely with Caterpillar dealers and industry partners to build capabilities, drive business improvements, and execute growth strategies aligned with Caterpillar's Enterprise Strategy. You will play a key role in helping dealers strengthen their sales and marketing capabilities while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and deliver differentiated dealer capabilities (fundamental and industry-specific) to deliver superior customer experience by addressing customer pain points.
• Develop industry, marketing, and sales knowledge, as well as a strong understanding of the Caterpillar dealer network.
• Drive strategic growth initiatives in partnership with the Director of Distribution, internal stakeholders, and dealers.
• Advise dealers on strategy development, disciplined sales funnel management (people, process, and systems), value selling, and business planning.
• Champion customer experience initiatives and advise dealers on improving market coverage and customer satisfaction through training, technology-enabled solutions, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve dealer effectiveness through process improvements and best practices.
• Drive programs that enable dealers to achieve profitable sales growth and capture lost opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese is required

• Analytical skills to interpret and understand data to drive actions
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively and communicate with others in a variety of work environments to build trust
• Experience in sales, marketing, product support, market development, or eCommerce would be beneficial, as would related or transferable skills.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
