Job Description

LOCATION: Brevard County, FL

The Market President functions as a market leader and is responsible for executing the market’s business development defined by the Regional President, focusing on client satisfaction and retention, coaching, and inspecting the Client Management Process. The majority of the Market President’s time is spent on client relationship developing/deepening including community events, executing the market strategy, in collaboration with the market leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as an integral member of the market leadership team and develops strong relationships the leaders of the business and key support partners
  • Supporting and promoting the reputation and brand of the organization in the market and community
  • Developing new relationships for the Bank from executive contacts, centers of influence (COI’s) and market activities.
  • Expected to be the “face of the bank” to the business community within their market.
  • Be a voice for the bankers, customers, prospects, and community.
  • Be an ambassador to the community bringing in bankers, wealth advisors, residential loan originators or treasury management associates to develop and onboard new prospects.
  • Joining bankers within the market on joint calling, structuring transactions, and developing relationships as requested
  • Facilitates referral hand-offs between members of the Treasury Management, Wealth, Credit, , Consumer Marine, Residential, etc.
  • Ensure customers onboard and any issues are identified, communicated to all, and fixed. Host key customer events with Sr. Management. Help identify cross sell opportunities with services not offered by predecessor bank to deepen relationships (Treasury Management, Wealth, Residential, Consumer, Marine etc.)
  • Banker Onboarding: Be a mentor and advisor to bankers as they onboard to the new institution.
  • Collaborates with the market leadership team to determine the optimal allocation of credit products, treasury solutions, and sales support resources to capitalize on the market opportunity.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required OR equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in one or more of the following: Commercial Banking Management or Market Leadership/Ambassadorship
  • Strong understanding of sales organizations and sales processes
  • Displays a positive attitude to champion change and ensure strategies are effectively implemented.
  • Demonstrates strong credit skills and the ability to shape complex financial solutions.
  • Able to drive integration among multiple partners and functions.
  • Core commercial credit and treasury knowledge
  • Easily navigates multiple client and support organizations.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and acts with speed - able to achieve results quickly.
  • Complex problem resolution abilities
  • Displays personal courage, makes tough people and business decisions.
  • Communicates crisply and candidly.
  • Unquestionable business and personal integrity
  • Fast learner able to understand and assimilate new information rapidly.
  • Supervisory experience.
