Your role at Baxter:

You, as Market Planner, will handle inventory at country or cluster level. MPs examine supply exceptions at the country level, or use equivalent experience to do so. They connect with sales, customer support, Quality, Network Planners, and fulfillment teams about discrepancies between stock and client needs, especially in imports. MPs also collaborate with Network Planners to resolve short- and medium-term supply challenges. They develop strategies to present inventory gaps to the sales division. In import scenarios, MPs handle fulfillment within country nodes, along with driving process optimization and continuous improvement ideas and projects.

What you will be doing:

  • Management of import or manufactured finished goods, equipment or spare parts through relationship with international and intercompany suppliers and other external entities.
  • Develop and be responsible for the deployment plan and its implementation tailored to the specific needs of the market. e market. Analyze and report inventory variance within country being the accountable owner.
  • Guarantee KPI´s accomplishment as inventory level, cash flow, service level, backorder, discard and Supply Chain expenses.
  • Own the communication strategy to the commercial team for low coverage supply issues and back-order risks. Lead commercial meetings to review pipelines and handle country fulfillment.
  • Order management to include, monitoring, tracking and expediting inbound POs as needed. Coordinate efforts alongside the Network Planner, global logistics, transportation, and warehousing to find resolution to short term supply issues.
  • Coordinate alongside the individual responsible for network planning and key collaborators any required system parameter changes for cluster/country (lead times, safety stock, QA releases).
  • Support all activities for the market driven by change controls, import license registration, new product launches, product phase outs, etc. Time will be spent understanding the product set-up, product registration, operation processes, and market demand.
  • Identify and complete improvement projects looking for inventory levels optimization.
  • Complete monthly reserve proposal, identify and communicate opportunities for discard avoidance and follow through the opportunities to ensure they are implemented.

What will you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1 to 3 years related experience in supply chain management - warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service and/or inventory planning is required. English (Required)
  • Advance Excel (Required)
  • Knowledge in planning or deployment tools (Required)
  • APICS (Desirable)
