As the Purchasing Manager your primary responsibilities will include supplier relationship management, project management and strategic sourcing responsibilities for our North America Supply Network. This work plays a critical role in ensuring best total value for our logistics services required to support our North America Product Supply Strategy of delivering over 90% of our North Americas customer volume within 1 day transit.
Job Responsibilities
Buying expertise in warehouse services capacity secured at best total value.
Leadership in work process interventions to increase third party logistics productivity and lower cost.
Savings Delivery within project creation, analysis and execution (negotiation, business allocation recommendation, contract completion) to deliver incremental, structural savings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with the sites they source services, central Market Operations and the 3PL roster of suppliers.
Purchasing skills such as Sourcing Strategy (Development and Execution), Negotiation, Relationship Management, Data analysis and insights and End to end loss elimination. Efficient and effective decision making and problem solving skills are critical to support the business success. The applicant must be able to work with internal customers and be a key contact for vendors.
Building collaborative relationships with peers, other functions and suppliers to jointly manage complex situations. The group shares processes, suppliers, and technologies and therefore must work well together to ensure success. The ability to work well with others on the team is essential to the candidate’s success in the role.
The ability to work independently and pro-actively, with changing priorities, while keeping the various customers well informed about the situation or when action from their side is needed.

Job Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or relevant field
Experience in a purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management environment.
Data Analytical skills (Power BI, Tableau, Agiloft, Coupa, Microsoft Office, Copilot) are a must.
Preferred
SAP or other system experience
