This team partners closely with business teams to drive simplification and deliver exceptional customer outcomes in Asia and the Middle East region which covers 26 markets, 600+ offices and branches, and more than 140,000 employees. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Market Operations Manager (2 year contract)

In this role you will:

  • Support Head of IWPB Operations to provide management oversight of operations, ensuring strong service outcomes, develop and lead process and risk improvement plans.
  • Drive a customer-first culture, resolving enquiries and complaints with the team, identifying root causes and work with the respective team to develop and lead process, knowledge embedding, risk and control improvements.
  • Own management information (MI) and performance reporting across delivery services with clear, decision-grade narratives, driving accountability and transparent tracking of priorities.
  • Lead deep-dive diagnostics and root-cause analysis on under/over-performance, incidents and issues; convert findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement through simplification, workflow streamlining and targeted automation to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Conduct operational due diligence and third-party assessments and contribute to integration planning for inorganic initiatives.

To be successful you will need:

  • At least 10 years’ Wealth and Private Banking experience, including operational, change management and broad experience across retail products. (eg: account servicing, cards, loans , mortgage, wealth etc)
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and experience working with offshore teams to deliver results in a matrix environment.
  • Strong project delivery skills; strong process management and continuous improvement capability, delivering measurable efficiency/cost outcomes through simplification and automation.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving capability with a risk and control mindset (MI interpretation, root-cause analysis, audit/regulatory support) and effective stakeholder management.
  • Strong planning, attention to detail and ability to deliver accurately under pressure and to demanding timescales and strong risk and control mindset with experience supporting audits, regulatory actions and control effectiveness.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a customer-first mindset and commercial awareness.
