Join Hitachi Energy as a Market Manager & Sales Professional within our Grid Integration business in France!

In this role, you will drive the commercial development of our high-voltage substation solutions and advanced power quality systems, with a strong focus on STATCOM technologies You will work directly with utility, industrial, and infrastructure customers to understand their technical and commercial needs and recommend tailored system solutions across our Grid Integration portfolio.

This position also plays a key role in supporting marketing strategies, contributing to financial performance analysis (profitability, budgeting, ROI), and ensuring high-quality customer support throughout offer preparation, delivery coordination, and issue resolution. Compensation is directly tied to commercial performance and sales achievement.

As a Senior Professional, you will manage complex sales processes with a high degree of autonomy and provide guidance to junior colleagues. You will face challenging technical and commercial topics that require strong problem-solving skills, independence, and confidence in high‑stake customer decisions.

How You’ll Make an impact

  • Lead & coordinate sales activities in France (business development, pipeline development).
  • Define and implement the marketing strategy to support local marketing activities to strengthen Grid Integration visibility and enhance market positioning.
  • Work independently on complex sales processes and support junior team members by sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Lead sales opportunities in coordinating with stakeholders and tendering team (opportunity screening, target price analysis, contractual negotiations,…).
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Hitachi Energy’s high voltage substation and power quality (STATCOM) portfolio across France.
  • Engage proactively with new and existing customers through on-site and remote interactions to understand technical and commercial requirements.
  • Recommend optimized system solutions from our high-voltage substation and power quality offering.
  • Contribute to financial performance analysis, including profitability studies, budgeting, and ROI reviews.
  • Provide customers with accurate technical, system, and pricing information.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the resolution of tender, delivery, or execution-related issues.

Your Background

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a License degree in a similar technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record in High Voltage Substation (HTB) projects.
  • Knowledge of turnkey systems, EPC environments, and project execution lifecycles.
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Based in Massy or Lyon
  • Experience with Power Quality solutions will be highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide across France for customer visits.
