In this role, you will join a highly specialized Quality Assurance team focused on validating mission‑critical software that supports real‑time energy markets, grid security, and optimization. Your work will directly influence system reliability, performance, and customer success.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, domain experts, and global teams to test sophisticated solutions across data management, network modeling, optimization, and operational control. This is an opportunity to apply deep power systems knowledge in a modern software environment, while continuously improving how complex systems are validated at scale.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Translate business and functional requirements into effective test strategies
  • Design and execute functional and non‑functional test cases
  • Prepare, validate, and manage complex data sets for system testing
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and subject matter experts
  • Develop reusable test automation and validation tools
  • Execute integration, regression, performance, and acceptance testing
  • Analyze test results and drive quality improvements
  • Support issue investigation, resolution, and verification

Your background

  • Advanced degree (MTech / ME or PhD) in Electrical Engineering
  • Academic or practical experience in power systems optimization
  • Knowledge of power system modeling, analysis, or optimization methods
  • Experience with software testing, scripting, or automation (e.g., Python)
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows, or similar operating systems
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
