We are currently looking for a Market Logistics Specialist who is knowledgeable in logistics and curious about how VELUX logistics is set up, motivated to improve our processes, and eager to make a tangible difference in how we deliver value to our customers.

Meet your future team - where process meets impact

This role goes beyond traditional logistics responsibilities. It is about understanding the processes in depth, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to a more efficient and customer-focused setup.

You will join a dedicated team of team of 12 Logistics colleagues responsible for the North European markets located across Germany, Denmark, and Scotland. Collaboration is central to how we work, both within the team and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The position is based at our office in Glenrothes or in Hamburg, with approximately 20 days of travel per year.

We offer

An exciting role, reporting to the Regional Logistics Director, you will support the regional Market Logistics Team in daily operations while also contributing to performance management across service, quality, and cost.

You will take ownership of your own areas of responsibility while supporting broader team initiatives. Your work will connect data, processes, and stakeholders, helping to turn insight into action.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting and analysing key logistics performance indicators to support fact-based decision-making
  • Participating in and leading cost optimisation initiatives, with a strong focus on lean and efficient processes
  • Supporting and contributing to regional and global logistics projects and initiatives
  • Driving local and regional logistics improvements that enhance performance and customer outcomes. Analyse and implement process improvement
  • Responsible for returns and scrap process.

In addition, you will:

  • Support the Market Logistics Team with analyses, presentations, and background materials
  • Participate in dialogues with Logistics Service Providers and follow up on continuous improvement programmes
  • Build an understanding of customer needs and support follow-up based on customer interactions

Who we are looking for

There are multiple pathways into this role. You may have a degree in logistics or practical experience from a similar role in the supply chain environment. You approach process improvements with an analytical mindset combined with hands on practical approach to follow up and implement changes.

Alternatively, you may be a recent graduate with strong theoretical knowledge and the ambition to apply it in practice.

Most importantly, you bring an analytical and collaborative mindset, along with a genuine interest in logistics and process improvement.

You offer:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions based on data and documented facts
  • The ability to collaborate effectively and communicate across functions and stakeholders
  • Business understanding and curiosity about how logistics supports overall performance
  • Experience with CRM systems, and ideally knowledge of SAP and or Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills
