Job Description

The Market Intelligence & Communications Lead supports strategic growth initiatives by combining market research, business intelligence, communications strategy, and executive engagement within a fast-paced federal contracting environment. This role plays a critical part in identifying market trends, supporting business development efforts, enhancing corporate messaging, and driving strategic communication initiatives that strengthen organizational growth and customer engagement.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, highly organized, and capable of translating market insights into actionable strategies and compelling communications. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, business development, recruiting, and operations teams to support growth planning, customer engagement, branding initiatives, and competitive positioning efforts.

This position provides broad exposure to market analysis, federal business development, strategic communications, executive engagement, and organizational growth initiatives within the government contracting industry.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in communications, market research, business development support, strategic operations, marketing, or related fields. Support social media strategy, content creation, and audience engagement initiatives
  • Support thought leadership initiatives through content development, articles, announcements, and executive messaging
  • Identify emerging technology trends, including AI/ML-driven marketing solutions, to improve operational efficiency and market visibility
  • Develop visually engaging presentations, graphics, and promotional materials that reinforce corporate branding
  • Maintain and enhance company SEO strategies, and digital marketing presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and external vendors
  • Support employer branding initiatives focused on attracting and retaining high-performing talent
  • Assist with innovative-focused campaigns highlighting advancements in AI tools, automation, and IT modernization services.
  • Develop executive briefings, market analysis reports, customer profiles, pipeline summaries, and strategic insight presentations
  • Support corporate communications initiatives including internal messaging, announcements, newsletters, leadership communications, and external engagement efforts
  • Assist with branding, marketing, recruiting outreach, and thought leadership initiatives aligned with company growth objectives
  • Support executive participation in conferences, industry events, customer engagements, and strategic networking opportunities
  • Prepare capability materials, briefing documents, presentation content, and professional correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate executive engagement activities including scheduling, meeting logistics, travel coordination, and strategic calendar management
  • Conduct federal market research and competitive intelligence activities to support strategic growth initiatives and business development priorities
  • Conduct customer, agency, and competitor research to support capture planning and strategic decision-making
  • Spearhead social media coordination, professional content development, and public-facing communications initiatives
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within government contracting, federal consulting, defense, or professional services environments
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition processes, capture support, pipeline management, or proposal coordination
  • Experience using federal market intelligence and opportunity tracking platforms such as SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS, or USAspending
