Market Group Manager - Energy Resources

Salary range:£90,000 to £110,000 per annum+ Comprehensive benefits

Location:Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow,BurtonorLeatherheadarepreferable but would consider any office for the right candidate.

Working Pattern:Weoperatea flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

As a Market Group Manager,you’llplay a pivotal role and be accountable for the Company’s business development and sales strategy implementationYou willleadallour non-nuclear related energy andresources sectorswithclients inutilities, OEMs,developersandregulators.You willbe responsible forleading an existing teamof Business Development Managersthatrepresentsyour marketgroup, with responsibility for developing a profitable portfolio of work, and actingas a focal point for our clientsandinternally.

Whatyouwillbedoing:

  • Oversee business development efforts acrossournon-nuclearenergy andresourcesportfolio,including renewable and conventional power generation,transmissionanddistribution sectors,to align with ourstrategicobjectives

  • Build and manage long-term client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and a key point of contactfor clients

  • Identifyand qualify new business opportunities

  • Accountable foridentifyingandmitigating commercial risks

  • Provideaccurateforecasting and reporting ofthepipeline,revenue and profitability,performanceand market intelligence to senior leadership.

  • Lead and developa group of BusinessDevelopmentManagers on aday-to-daybasis, providing functional leadership,coachingand mentoring

Whatskills and experience you willbring:

  • Skilful in enhancing business development and increasing sales, ideallyin one or more of the renewables, conventional poweror power transmission and distribution sectorsin anengineering,technologyorconsultancy environment.

  • Ability to engage with technical teams and translate complex offerings into compelling business value

  • Skilful communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Organized professional with a strategic mindset and a results-driven attitude.

Desirable Experience:

  • Background in consulting would beadvantageous

  • Existing network withinenergy and resourcesutilities, OEMs, developers and regulatorsor related industries

  • Experience withprivate sector procurement, including frameworks and research and innovation funding.

  • Degreeor equivalent experiencein business, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
