We currently have an opening for a Market Development Sales - Ottawa Region The primary role of the position is to build relationships with contractors and distributors with a focus on exploration and growth of the territory. This key position in our organization will report to the Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate will have excellent sales and negotiation skills, as well as strong business acumen. The candidate should be enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and eager to learn. Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills, are essential for dealing with multiple departments, customers, and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and grow sales in the residential sector and at distributors.
  • Inform customers on product selection and installation information to ensure project success.
  • Continuously learn about current and new product lines, as well as new developments in the industry.
  • Organize and produce Unilock presentations.
  • Participate in training activities, attend seminars and conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess strong sales performance skills.
  • Graduates of College or University level programs preferred.
  • Bilingual in French would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in landscape industry would be considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, using Microsoft Office.
  • Applicants must be able to successfully complete driver and background check.
  • Valid Ontario drivers license.
