Your mission
The Market Development & Events Officer plays a key role in expanding the university’s reach and enhancing prospective student engagement through targeted market development and event coordination. This role is responsible for identifying and nurturing key relationships in assigned markets, organizing impactful events (such as Open Days, webinars, and campus tours), and supporting recruitment initiatives in collaboration with Marketing and Sales departments. In short, Market Development & Events Officer is a market connoisseur and student outreach expert.
Tasks and Responsabilities
Market Development:
- Identify and engage key stakeholders in strategic markets, including high schools, embassies, and community organizations.
- Research and identify the most relevant and high-impact education fairs and events in assigned markets, manage bookings, coordinate logistics, and represent the institution at these events.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in high schools (counselors, principals, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a database of partner schools,commercial partners,embassies, and outreach opportunities.
- Identify and engage potential student ambassadors
Events Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute engagement events such as Open Days, campus tours, online events, and in-school presentations.
- Coordinate logistics, communication, and promotional materials in partnership with the Marketing team.
- Ensure pre-and post-event follow-up and lead handover to Sales teams.
- Monitor attendance and engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of each event.
- Develop new interactive activities, like workshops, summer camps or challenges, to engage potential students.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with Sales departments to ensure lead quality and follow-up.
- Coordinate with Marketing to develop tailored campaigns and materials for different markets and events.
- Share market intelligence and insights with Sales to support conversion strategies.
Your Profile
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Marketing, Education, or related field (Master’spreferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in student recruitment, outreach, counseling, or a similar role, preferably within an international or higher education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences in both one-to-one and in large public speaking environments.
- Experience organizing events and coordinating logistics.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel internationally and work flexible hours as needed.
- Fluent-Native English and German
Preferred

Additional Information
The position requires international travel and flexible working hours to support events and recruitment activities in different markets.
