Market Data Business Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
Consolidation & Reporting for sales support:
Extract, validate and consolidate data from BI systems to assist in building commercial reports & presentations . E.g: sales reports to build pre-flash (business results), sales huddles and business opportunities, monthly&quarterly/forecast&budget presentations
Prepare general analyses of the business performance (such as price/mix effect, volume targets)
Produce monthly sales KPI (such as order book, book to bill)
Interprets data, identify anomalies,and provide your actionable insights to Business analysts
Owner the commercial KPIs to translate data into strategy, dive deep into business performance and serve as a strategic advisor to Business Analysts and Commercial Leaders
Produce detailed reports on products, clients for profitability analysis or segmentation for instance
Master Data Stewardship :
Identify incorrect, inaccurate or irrelevant data across ERP, BI and reporting systems and giving resolutions
Contribute to reporting automation and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with IT and business teams
Interaction with: Sales, Marketing, Technical support, Finance, Demand planning, Commercial excellence, IT Teams
Education & Experience:
Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Management or MBA
2+ year minimum experience in data analysis, business performance management, reporting or forecasting activities
Experience of working in multinational teams, across geographies, with a preference in the industrial environment. Be able to work well independently and with the broader team
Basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts
Flexibility in working approach and capacity of delivering within short deadlines.
Able to quickly adapt to IT tools like CRM (Sales Force), ERP (SAP etc), Business Intelligence tools and other data tools
Advanced Microsoft Suite(excel) / Google sheets, power query, large dataset management
Languages: Fluent in English
