This is a high-impact opportunity to join a lean team where you’ll sit at the center of product, data, and engineering, turning complex market data needs into real, working solutions.

Rather than a traditional Business Analyst role, this position is fully hands-on — you’ll work directly with data, define how it flows through the system, and play a key role in delivering and improving data products used across the business.

You’ll take ownership of data-related requests from product teams and translate them into clear technical specifications, working closely with engineers to deliver data feeds, transformations, and pipelines.

Alongside delivery, you’ll help manage multiple data initiatives, prioritize incoming requests, and continuously improve existing processes — including introducing automation where possible.This is a broad role in a fast-moving environment, where you’ll have the autonomy to drive solutions end-to-end and influence how data is structured and delivered.

• Translate business and product requirements into clear technical data specifications for engineering teams
• Manage data ingestion and transformation workflows, including external vendor data feeds and internal datasets
• Collaborate with developers to deliver data pipelines, feeds, and transformations
• Monitor and improve data quality, identifying anomalies and resolving issues across datasets
• Own small to mid-sized data projects end-to-end, balancing multiple requests and priorities
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize processes using Python or similar tools
• Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, and BI teams to ensure data solutions meet business needs

What skills and experience do I need to succeed?

• Strong SQL expertise (non-negotiable)
• Ability to work effectively with data pipelines, schemas, feeds, APIs, and data warehouses
• Proven ability to work independently with data and deliver solutions end-to-end
• Experience translating business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to operate with high autonomy and manage multiple requests or projects simultaneously
• 1–3 years’ experience in a market data, data analytics, or financial data environment

• Python for automation or process improvement
• Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
• Familiarity with data ingestion, transformation, and vendor data workflows
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Exposure to AI tools or an interest in automation
