Job Description

Play a pivotal role in facilitating access to life‑changing treatments for patients in Belgium and Luxembourg! By negotiating with key stakeholders and developing compelling reimbursement strategies, you’ll help bring Novo Nordisk therapies to those who need them most.

Your new role

As a Market Access Specialist, you'll play a vital role in developing and implementing market access strategies that ensure our innovative medicines reach the patients who need them most. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to pricing, reimbursement, and health economics while making a tangible impact on patient access across diverse healthcare systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and execution of market access strategies across multiple markets within your region
  • Conducting health economics analyses and building value dossiers that demonstrate the clinical and economic value of our products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Government Affairs to align on access priorities
  • Monitoring and analysing healthcare policies, payer landscapes, and reimbursement environments to identify opportunities and risks
  • Preparing compelling presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders including payers, health authorities, and HTA bodies
  • Contributing to pricing and reimbursement submissions and negotiations
  • Building strong relationships with key opinion leaders, payers, and patient advocacy groups

Within Novo Nordisk BeLux, you'll join a dynamic team of 85 colleagues dedicated to making our therapies accessible across the Belux market. Reporting directly to the Associate Director Market Access Belux, you'll play a crucial role in translating our innovative pipeline into real patient access through strategic pricing and reimbursement initiatives.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an ambitious professional who is eager to build a career in market access and health economics. You should bring:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related field
  • At least a first experience in market access within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and Dutch or French (Trilingual proficiency is a strong asset).
