About the Role

As an Access Manager, you will play a key role in improving patient access to treatments across the assigned portfolio by shaping and advancing market access strategies. Working within the Market Access team, you will help ensure that pricing, reimbursement, and access approaches support country objectives while enabling broader patient reach. This role serves as a strategic partner across multiple functions, providing expertise, insight, and leadership on market access matters. You will contribute to the development of effective access solutions, support engagement with healthcare decision-makers, and help ensure that the organization’s value proposition is recognized by payers and authorities. Through a combination of strategic thinking, market understanding, and stakeholder collaboration, you will help drive sustainable access outcomes for patients and the business.

How You Will Contribute

  • Develop and execute market access strategies that support country objectives and address complex access challenges.
  • Lead market research and pricing studies to generate insights that inform access and reimbursement decisions.
  • Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams on market access strategy and implementation.
  • Conduct economic and access analyses and recommend improvements that strengthen access outcomes.
  • Support pricing and reimbursement negotiations and represent the organization with external stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Design and implement pricing and reimbursement approaches aligned with country access plans.
  • Communicate compelling value propositions to help stakeholders recognize the benefits of the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance across all access activities with applicable legal, ethical, and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, health economics, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in market access, pricing, and reimbursement.
  • Knowledge of national pricing and reimbursement systems, health technology assessment, health economics and outcomes research, and payer decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • German is the mother tongue or of equal proficiency and fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; additional skills in French or Italian are advantageous
  • Strong commitment to compliance, ethical standards, collaboration, accountability, and delivering results.

Base Salary Range:

CHF132,000.00 - CHF181,500.00
