About you ๐Ÿ‘ค

  • The territory for this role is Republic of Ireland + UK devolved nations (Scotland and Northern Ireland); therefore, strong knowledge of the Republic of Ireland healthcare system, including HSE structures, funding, reimbursement, and market access pathways, with a good understanding of UK healthcare systems and NHS market access processes is required.

  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and influence clinical leaders and key stakeholders to support the appropriate adoption of medicines and address barriers to patient access.

  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical, scientific, and health economic evidence effectively to a variety of healthcare stakeholders.

  • Knowledge and experience within Women's Health is desirable.

  • Experience developing and implementing integrated market access strategies and operational plans.

  • Ability to build productive relationships and deliver outcomes through a combination of virtual and face-to-face customer engagement.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

  • ABPI qualified, with a comprehensive understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice, relevant industry regulations, and their practical application within a commercial healthcare environment. This qualification is essential to support customer engagement across the UK.

  • Detailed understanding of the IPHA Code of Practice and its application to customer engagement and pharmaceutical activities within the Republic of Ireland.

  • Strong networking, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other business systems.

  • Full driving licence.

About the role ๐Ÿงญ

To develop and execute local market access strategies across the assigned territory by building trusted partnerships with healthcare decision-makers across the Republic of Ireland, and UK devolved nations (Scotland and Northern Ireland), identifying and addressing barriers to patient access, and supporting national, regional and local access activities including reimbursement and implementation processes for Theramex medicines in line with local healthcare priorities working within the IPHA and ABPI Codes of Practice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities ๐Ÿ“Œ

  • Develop and execute national market access strategies and operational plans for the Republic of Ireland, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

  • Identify opportunities and barriers to patient access, developing evidence-based solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Map national, regional, and local decision-making structures, reimbursement processes, treatment pathways, and funding mechanisms to inform market access strategies.

  • Generate, analyse, and communicate actionable payer and stakeholder insights to support business planning and access strategy development.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key healthcare decision-makers across the Republic of Ireland and UK devolved nations, including HSE and NHS stakeholders, medicines optimisation teams, hospital pharmacists, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and other payer decision-makers.

  • Identify and engage clinical leaders, advocates, and key opinion leaders to gain insights into treatment pathways, unmet patient needs, and implementation challenges.

  • Facilitate appropriate scientific and healthcare system discussions that support the understanding, adoption, and implementation of therapeutic innovations.

  • Develop long-term partnerships with healthcare stakeholders focused on improving patient outcomes and enhancing healthcare system efficiency.

  • Represent Theramex professionally and credibly across the healthcare landscape.

  • Support commissioning, reimbursement, and implementation processes through compliant stakeholder engagement and the provision of approved information.

  • Contribute to market access activities associated with new product launches, ensuring effective access readiness and stakeholder engagement.

  • Support implementation planning to help ensure timely patient access to newly available therapies.

  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Compliance, Global Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated customer engagement plans.

  • Provide local market intelligence and stakeholder insights to support evidence generation, access planning, and business strategy development.
