The Marine Supervisor is responsible for managing all marine operations to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of the offshore installation. The role oversees cargo operations, vessel and helicopter coordination, marine maintenance planning, and compliance with regulatory and class requirements. It also manages marine personnel, supports emergency response activities, and ensures the integrity of marine systems and equipment. The position serves as the onboard focal point for all marine-related matters while promoting safety, operational excellence, and environmental compliance.

Education
• Barge Supervisor as per STCW / IMO Resolution A.891(21) or Master License STCW 95 II/2 & IV/2.
Experience
• Ideally seven years’ experience as watch keeping officer with at least two years in supervisory position;
• Preferably FPSO or offshore platform experience;
• Preferably previous experience from working in a multicultural environment.
Knowledge
• Relevant national and regional rules and regulations
• Fully experienced in the use and of permit to work systems, hot work activities, gas testing, enclosed
space work, and safety monitoring of activities during plant shut-downs and refurbishments etc.
• Helicopter Operationsrelevant to unit and country of operation
• Waste Management relevant to unit and country of operation
• Mooring and unmooring operationsrelevant to unit of operation
• Safety Case where applicable
• Emergency Response procedure
