Job Description

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is currently seeking a Marine Fitter to join a dynamic and growing team within the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment on marine vessels.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Fit, align, and adjust machinery components to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct inspections, identify faults, and carry out repairs as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on marine equipment and systems.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other technical teams to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in mechanical fitting, ship repair, marine engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

 Location: Malta
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:15 (including a 45-minute break)
