Job Description

Ingeteam is in search of one Electrical System Engineer with marine electrical engineering experience for marine electric propulsion system with power generation, power distribution, large MV/ LV Drive or automation technologies, hybrid system for the Marine, offshore and Oil & Gas industries.

The main tasks of the Electrical System Engineer who takes this position will mainly be marine electric propulsion system engineering, including power system, drive system, automation system. Technical support and coordination for marine electrical propulsion project which will include Ingeteam’s generator, switchboard, drives, motors etc. Also will be involved in the project proposal development before order, and site commissioning when necessary.

• Responsible for marine electric propulsion system project system engineering and service related tasks for marine and offshore vessels;
• System engineering for electrical propulsion systems, including LV, MV power system, drive system engineering, interface clarification, PMS hardware/software engineering etc
• Collaborate with HQ engineering team for the engineering drawings, documentations preparing and approval
• Interface with sub-suppliers for technical clarification
• Technical interface with customer for specific projects
• Participating Commissioning and site service tasks when necessary for specific projects.
• Technical support for new project development when necessary

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, or similar
• A minimum of 3 years of Marine electrical relevant experience
• Marine Power system or Drive/Motor System engineering, Commissioning or project management Experience
• Strong organization and excellent time management skills
• Good team cooperation spirit
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
