About the role
Marcus Deposits is one of the leading and fastest growing online banks, and acquisition marketing plays a critical role in growth of the business. The Marcus acquisition marketing team is responsible for driving new customer acquisition through digital media channels efficiently and at scale, as well as managing and optimizing customers’ experience on site to account application for the Marcus high-yield savings accounts and certificates of deposits products.The team is performance-driven and focused on operational excellence.
In your role as an Associate on the acquisition marketing team, you will own the "aggregator" marketing channel — managing relationships and our advertising placements on financial resource and comparison websites. You will drive new customer acquisition through these partners by owning the end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, optimization, budget management, analysis, and reporting for the channel. You will also help the acquisition team stay current with industry trends and customer expectations to incorporate them into our optimization plan. As part of your role, you will interact and work closely with Product, Pricing, Legal & Compliance, Analytics, and Tech, among others.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow the aggregator/affiliate marketing channel, managing day-to-day relationships with financial resource and comparison websites.
- Deploy channel budget against business goals and negotiate placements, rates, and commercial terms with aggregator partners.
- Develop, in coordination with other marketing team members, short- and long-term aggregator channel strategy with the goal of driving new customer acquisition.
- Manage partner listings, rate table accuracy, and product positioning across aggregator sites to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Manage the marketing deliverable cycle including initial planning, creative and offer briefing, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis, and reporting.
- Partner closely with Legal & Compliance to ensure all placements, disclosures, and advertised terms meet regulatory requirements.
- Lead day-to-day operations of the aggregator channel and maintain a high standard of operational excellence.
- Review and analyze channel and partner performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; develop and maintain reporting dashboards and conduct deep-dive analysis as needed.
- Provide recommendations around areas of new opportunity for traffic and account growth through new partners and placements.
Your Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (required).
- 3-5 years of general digital marketing experience.
- Experience with affiliate, aggregator, partnership, or comparison-shopping marketing channels strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with affiliate networks, tracking platforms, attribution tools, and pricing models such as CPA, CPC, CPL.
- Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills for managing partner rates, placements, and contracts.
- Comfort and experience working within a highly regulated environment, partnering with Legal & Compliance advertising disclosures and approvals.
- You thrive in a fast past environment and can manage multiple partners/campaigns at one time.
- Strong analytical skills – you can quickly analyzing and reporting on KPIs for digital marketing channels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Experience with digital marketing and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, GMP/CM360, SA360, Google Ads).
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.), and PowerPoint.
