The MarCom Specialist, APAC role combines creative content production, digital channel management, structured market engagement, and major event execution — making it one of the most diverse positions in the regional MarCom function.

The scope of this role spans the full marketing execution cycle: from developing compelling content and managing owned digital channels, to supporting OU country teams in their events and marketing activities while delivering the region's presence at flagship industry events to ensure integrated delivery, consistent brand standards, and clear performance accountability across all areas of responsibility.

  • Manage the end-to-end content production process by working with internal stakeholders and in-house graphic designers as required.
  • Build and maintain a regional content library that Go-To-Market teams can adapt and localise for market-specific use.

Digital Channel Management

  • Own and manage regional digital channels including edm for APAC newsletter (Sprout/Hubspot), WhatsApp Business channel, and social media platforms to drive the digitalization strategies and increase demand and lead generation.
  • Develop and execute the regional content calendar/digital campaigns which are aligned to regional priorities and industry events.

  • Manage regional marketing automation workflows including audience segmentation, scheduling, and performance testing.

OU Market Support, CRM & Analytics

  • Market Enablement: Actively participate and collaborate with OU country teams to provide events’ support, (e.g booth designs, activities, vendor management etc) and locally-driven marketing initiatives to ensure alignment on regional messaging and brand standards, including crafting newsletters content on the events and activities. Support country teams in adapting regional content to local market contexts, languages, and audience needs.
  • CRM & Analytics: Act as the OU point of contact for CRM to maintain database accuracy and pipeline hygiene standards consistently across all markets, identifying and resolving data gaps, duplicate records, and outdated information. Generate and distribute CRM performance reports, tracking pipeline opportunities and campaign attribution. Build and maintain analytics dashboards that provide clear visibility into marketing-influenced pipeline and campaign ROI.

Events & Exhibitions

  • Support end-to-end MarCom coordination for regional exhibitions and industry events (e.g VIV Asia, Regional Conferences, and equivalent flagship events such as Species Days) including sourcing of vendors to optimize marketing budget.
  • Coordinate with Graphics team on event-related collateral, such as booth materials, digital assets, pre- and post-event communications, speaker support materials, and production briefs.
  • Coordinate with OU country teams, global teams, and external vendors (if any) to ensure seamless execution and brand alignment across all event touchpoints.
  • Manage pre- and post-event amplification, and post-event reporting on impact and ROI which includes feedback, lead generation, CRM pipeline opportunities, digital engagement, and provide actionable insights.
