Mandarin Oriental, Milan is looking for a Shift Technician to join our Engineering team.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Engineering Department in Milan, the Shift Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the hotel. The Shift Technician reports to the department manager.

As Shift Technician, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • Work independently on require requests for guest rooms and on guest floors
  • Carry out routine checking and maintenance work for the Hotel
  • Assist in update work order status and record in computer accordingly
  • Communicate with departments or other relevant parties for work status
  • Certificate of First Aid and mandatory Security training

As Shift Technician, we expect from you:

  • Minimum 1-2 year of relevant experiences
  • Specialization in Plumbing/ Air Conditioning Engineering/ Painting & Decoration will be an advantage
  • Strong technical knowledge in property maintenance
  • Good English and Italian
  • Hotel or guest services work experiences will be an advantage
  • Communication skills towards colleagues and clients
