Manufacturing Training Director (Grant Funded)
Arizona Western College is seeking a Manufacturing Training Director to lead hands-on technical training through the Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA). This role connects industry needs with real-world training, working with instructors, training partners, and industry leaders to ensure participants gain skills that translate directly to the manufacturing workplace.
Grant funded through the Empower to Grow Program, this is an opportunity to help shape innovative training at the Future48 Wellton Manufacturing Center while building stronger connections between students and industry. Typical Duties:
- Serves Students. Manages all technical training delivery for Track 1 and Track 2 across both cohorts in the Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA).
- Coordinates contracted training firms; ensures curriculum quality and industry relevance
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing industry experience
- Training/Instruction experience

Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Arizona Driver’s License or Equivalent
- Automation/robotics experience preferred but not required
Salary:
$85,000 per year
