
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Key Responsibilities.
Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic solutions for custom automated test systems
Apply automation and robotics solutions to improve productivity, repeatability, safety, and quality in manufacturing processes
Collaborate with test engineers on the integration of mechanical components with test equipment, switching hardware, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces
Participate in NPI industrialization by supporting the design and implementation of test stations and process equipment to ensure production readiness
Support upgrades and continuous improvement of existing production test stations and fixtures to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability
Provide hands-on support for the build, assembly, debugging, implementation, and troubleshooting of new or modified fixtures and automation systems
Actively contribute to Kaizen, cost-out, productivity, and standardization initiatives across industrialization and manufacturing test processes

This role will also focus on the mechanical, fixturing, automation/robotics, and mechatronics aspects of custom production assembly and test systems, as well as improvements to existing production equipment. The engineer will work closely with test and process engineers to support NPI industrialization, production support, productivity improvements, and global standardization initiatives.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The candidate will have solid experience of the full PCB Test Engineering development
lifecycle and a Proven experience (5+ years) in LabVIEW programming and development. In addition, he/she will possess the following attributes, skills and experience: -
