Job Description


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing or test engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in Test Engineering.
  • Experience in custom test hardware design, fixtures, instrumentation, and station bring-up, and in Advanced Python, Bash, and Shell scripting for test automation across Linux.
  • Experience in DFT, System-Level Testing (L6/L10/L11), GR&R, calibration, and correlation, and collaborating with CMs, OEMs, JDMs, and ODMs.
  • Ability to travel upto 15% internationally.
  • Strong background in functional testing for server, storage, and networking products, including air/liquid cooling and RMA/Failure Analysis.

In this role you will be responsible for the deployment of capacity in Google’s Fleet. Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and deploy manufacturing test hardware, software scripts, and diagnostics for new ML products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through volume production.
  • Partner with Design Engineering to implement Design for Test (DFT) features, optimizing product manufacturability and test coverage early in the cycle.
  • Lead test station bring-up, qualification, and troubleshooting at contract manufacturer sites to resolve technical issues during critical NPI builds.
  • Analyze yields and failure modes from manufacturing data to drive test process improvements, enhance coverage, and support root-cause failure analysis.
  • Author comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports while executing tasks in strict alignment with ML-NPI program milestones.
