What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Technology Engineer- Level 3 you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing product capability information, investigating technical performance of our offerings and competitor equipment, staying current on hardware and software advancements, and helping design solutions that meet customer needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gather information concerning the capabilities of company products.
  • Investigate technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment.
  • Stay abreast of developments in hardware and software.
  • Analyze customer problems and assist in designing systems to satisfy those needs.
  • Prepare equipment analyses and present sales proposals to the sales force and customers.

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products; investigates the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Prepares equipment analysis to instruct sales force and customers in equipment capabilities. May prepare and present sales proposals.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher education
• Work experience in Applications, Manufacturing, Process, or other related Engineering field
• Experience in technical problem solving within manufacturing
• Project management experience

Desired Skills

• Experience with Metrology equipment, scanning or measurement processes, automated analysis and reporting.

• Experience with advanced aircraft manufacturing, especially with the F-35.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, delegate, and prioritize accordingly.

• Knowledge of F-35 fabrication, assembly, finishes, & inspection methods and tools.

• Knowledge of industry best practices for a broad range of manufacturing techniques.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative approach to technical problem solving.

• Ability to establish working relationships dealing with LM internal and external customers & supply chain.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
