Manufacturing Technician - Plastics
Townley

1st Shift: 7am - 430pm, M-F

Additional overtime available as business requires

Compensation: $16 per hour

Purpose of Role:

Mfg Tech - Plastics are responsible for working in production with consistent speed and accuracy while maintaining production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Pours Urethane into molds and lines different pump parts

  • Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment

  • Maintains a clean workstation and production floor.

  • Follows production guidelines and specifications.

  • Finalizes and packages products for shipment.

  • Monitors the production line and removes faulty products.

  • Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Pulls and puts away molds and cores based on manufacturing needs

Requirements:

  • Troubleshoot Molding Problems

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure

  • Able to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.

  • Ability to work as a team as well as being self-directed

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Required Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

  • Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.

  • Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.


Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand,

  • Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
