The Manufacturing Software Technician II is responsible for the research, development, and support of manufacturing software tools, automation, and integration with other software.Responsible for creation and support of tools to improve efficiency and collaboration across the manufacturing platform of the organization.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the research of new software, the creation of custom tools and automation, the maintenance, improvement, and the training/support of users utilizing said tools.Has in depth knowledge of the Vault software and company workflows. Has experience working within the Autodesk Revit Software and knowledge of Inventor and Revit connectivity. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite. Performing the duties of a Manufacturing Designer as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 3 years of Inventor, 3 years of Vault, and 2 Years of Revit preferred. Advanced knowledge of iLogic and Visual Basic programming and knowledge of inventor content center and custom part creation.

Travel: 5-10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts research of new software and tools to ensure the organization is as efficient as possible.
• Assists in the creation of new tools and features through iLogic and Visual Basic programming.
• Supports software users as problems arise.
• Performs Inventor/Vault administration duties and maintenance as required.
• Performs the duties of a Manufacturing Designer as needed.
• Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
