Job Description

STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Technician, Clean Room to join our Manufacturing team and help maintain a controlled cleanroom environment that supports the production of high-quality STEMCELL products that drive science forward.

In this role, you will perform essential cleaning and disinfection activities to maintain a suitable aseptic environment for manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include solution preparation and labelling, mopping and disinfecting surfaces, inventory replenishment, waste removal, and general facility upkeep. This is a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience with cleanroom controls, GMP practices, and disinfection strategies while working closely with the Manufacturing Cleanroom team.

This position requires flexibility to work shifts based on business needs, with the majority of shifts scheduled from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am PST. Some flexibility for earlier or later shifts as well as overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on the production schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow approved SOPs and schedules to perform cleaning and disinfection of aseptic cleanrooms and non-classified areas, including mopping and wiping ceilings, walls, floors, and equipment, as well as removing waste

  • Accurately complete and review all written and electronic documentation in accordance with GMP and GDP requirements, ensuring daily cleaning activities are properly recorded

  • Maintain adequate cleaning supplies, tools, and disinfectants, including proper labeling and storage, to support organizational, GMP, and ISO cleanliness standards

  • Perform material stocking, transfer, housekeeping, and other support activities for regulated and non-regulated manufacturing areas while maintaining required gowning qualifications and training

  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Cleanroom Manager and technicians to coordinate priorities, escalate issues, follow all safety requirements, and remain flexible to support shift-based production demands and other duties within training and skill level

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 0–3 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance speed, accuracy, and quality in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to follow written procedures and accurately complete documentation in accordance with established requirements

  • Working knowledge of regulated environments and quality systems, including ISO 13485 and cGMP, is considered an asset

  • Strong communication skills required and computer literacy preferred, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, including lifting 25–30 lbs and working in a cold room environment

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$47,300.00 - $62,700.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
