Job Description

  • Cleaning of the product manufacturing equipment and the manufacturing facility.
  • Manufacture of batches of Ocular implant products as per GMP. Manufacturing processes include weighing, sieving, milling, blending, mixing, extrusion, cutting and measurement of product implants.
  • Complete batch file documentation accurately as per GDP
  • Manufacture of batches of ocular implant products as per GMP. Manufacturing processes include weighing, sieving, milling, blending, extrusion, cutting and measurement of product implants, needle inspection and needle plugging.
  • Complete batch file documentation accurately as per GDP
  • Cleaning of the Implant manufacturing equipment and the manufacturing facility
  • Act in compliance with all site safety rules and report all safety related events.
  • Provide information and perform investigation tasks in support of effective non-conformance management.
  • Timely communication and reporting on manufacturing status versus schedule.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with GMP, relevant SOP’s and policies.
  • Attend all meetings as required.
  • Tier Meetings
  • Departmental Meetings
  • Project Meetings

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a GMP cleanroom environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instruction accurately.
  • Basic understanding and demonstrated ability to set up and operate manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Third level qualification in science or engineering is preferable but not mandatory.
