The Manufacturing Technician supports the production of high-quality medical devices through the assembly, inspection, and processing of components, subassemblies, and finished goods. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to regulated manufacturing standards. Manufacturing Technicians work in a team-based environment and are expected to follow established quality systems, safety practices, and production requirements.
This is an evergreen requisition used to support ongoing and anticipated manufacturing needs.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the assembly and production of prepped component, subassemblies, and finished goods parts, while using a microscope and a variety of equipment. Grinder, rubber wheel, satin wheel, bead blaster, micro blaster, armor press, steamer, etc.
Daily use of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment as required
Perform detailed work involving small or precision components, including microscope-based assembly as applicable
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality system procedures, and safety guidelines
Verify product quality through visual inspection and basic measurement techniques
Accurately complete production, quality, and traceability documentation
Meet production targets and takt time requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support cross-training and assist in other manufacturing areas as needed
Participate in continuous improvement and team-based problem solving
Support overtime and flexible scheduling based on business needs
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of manufacturing, production, or hands-on assembly experience
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; ability to work with small, precision components
Experience using a microscope and basic measuring equipment, such as calipers and comparator.
Ability to follow written instructions and detailed procedures
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to read and write English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medical device, regulated manufacturing, or cleanroom environments
Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments
Working Conditions
Manufacturing and production environment
Exposure to repetitive tasks and fine motor activities
Use of PPE as required
Work Schedules
1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 am – 3:00 pm
2nd Shift: Monday –Thursday, 3:00 pm – 1:30 am
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated pay range $22-27/hour. Actual pay will be determined various factors such as skills, qualifications and experience.
