Job Summary:

If you are a Manufacturing Technician professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. In this role, you will support in ensuring production equipment are active and stable, perform equipment/tool repair & maintenance, handle spare parts management and drives equipment improvement. You will work closely with engineering & production team to help ensure product quality, equipment reliability, and operational excellence while contributing to a collaborative and innovative manufacturing environment.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Address production redlights related to equipment/tool failure and ensure timely recovery of manufacturing operations
  • Perform equipment/facility maintenance activities, including Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) to ensure continuous production operations & improve equipment uptime
  • Execute in-house testing and calibrations of equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors in the execution of contract services and projects to support operational and business objectives
  • Manage spare parts management, including inventory control, stock replenishment and tracking of critical spares to minimize equipment downtime
  • Drive continuous equipment improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve performance, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support in executing production rework activities to ensure product quality and compliance with specification

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Proficient in equipment troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and maintenance support for resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Experience in performing preventive maintenance activities including inspections, servicing, calibration and replacement of wear & tear components in accordance with maintenance schedules.
  • Possess working knowledge of PLCs and automations systems, enabling effective support of equipment operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or any related field
  • Minimum 3 years of related manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of welding automation systems and process is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
