MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.

The 3rd Shift Manufacturing team is a dedicated, tight-knit group of midnight operators, press technicians, and production specialists who thrive when the sun goes down. We are a diverse squad of approximately 6 to 15 team members who bring unique backgrounds and a shared work ethic to the floor every night. Because we operate during the facility's quietest hours, our team relies heavily on mutual trust, clear communication, and a strong sense of camaraderie to get the job done.

The Role

As the 3rd Shift Team Lead at our East Providence, RI facility, you are the anchor of our overnight operations. Acting as a direct extension of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this role is designed to provide front-line leadership when the traditional business day ends. You will be responsible for keeping the production floor energized, safe, and efficient, guiding a diverse team of operators to hit their targets while maintaining a culture of continuous coaching and accountability.

The Person We Want

We are seeking a dynamic 3rd Shift Team Lead for our East Providence, RI facility. In this role, you will act as an extension of the Manufacturing Supervisor, driving production efficiency, ensuring strict safety compliance, and coaching a diverse team to meet quality and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe manufacturing environment by conducting daily safety walkthroughs, identifying hazards, and ensuring strict adherence to OSHA and company safety guidelines
  • Facility Security: Lead end-of-shift walkthroughs to ensure proper machine shutdown, facility security, and completion of the daily Facility Closure Log
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure operators perform preventative maintenance on machines per required schedule
  • Team Leadership: Coach and counsel team members on safety, quality, delivery, and morale
  • Workflow & SLA Management: Monitor production data, track KPIs, and optimize workflow from the printing presses to meet turnaround times. Prioritize large orders, reworks, and next-day deliverables. Identify and support cross training as needed to meet production numbers.
  • Order Reconciliation: Run the daily "chase list" to track down and reconcile outstanding late or missing orders.
  • Quality Assurance: Partner with the Quality team to reduce internal/external defects and maintain First Pass Yield (FPY). Conduct regular 5S, performance, and rework rail audits.
  • Shift Hand Off: Coordinate seamlessly with leads across all shifts, populate end-of-day operational reports.

About You

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, multitask, and motivate a diverse team under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to clearly follow and deliver instructions.
  • Technical & Math Skills: Computer literate (Word,Google sheets, Email) with the ability to read/interpret digital displays, diagrams, and perform basic mathematical calculations. 
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand in one place for extended periods (8+ hours with breaks). 
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to process changes and willing to work overtime during high-volume production periods. 

Nice to Haves

  • HP or Konica Minolta press experience or sheet fed offset experience.
